Flapjacks

Ingredients:
150g butter or vegan spread
100g brown sugar
3 tbsp golden syrup or honey
250g rolled oats
Optional: handful of raisins, seeds, chopped fruit or nuts
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Line a 20cm square tin.
Melt butter, sugar, and syrup together in a pan.
Stir in oats (and extras if using).
Press mixture into the tin and bake 20–25 mins until golden.
Cool slightly, then cut into squares while still warm.
