Pear & Oat Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe pears, peeled & sliced

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Juice of ½ lemon

Crumble topping:

  • 100g oats

  • 75g plain flour

  • 75g butter or vegan spread

  • 75g brown sugar

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan).

  2. Toss pears with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a baking dish.

  3. Rub butter into flour until crumbly, then mix in oats and sugar.

  4. Spread topping over pears and bake 30–35 mins until golden.

Serve warm with custard or yoghurt.
